What Canada’s Foreign Policy Priorities Should Be

Dear Members and Friends,
After a sold-out event last evening with John Mundy, last Canadian Ambassador to Iran, we are pleased to follow up and continue the discussion on Canadian foreign policy by presenting an evening reception with Paul Dewar, NDP Foreign Affairs Critic.
In conjunction with our event sponsor, Davis LLP, the CIC is priviledged to be the forum which Mr. Dewar will present for the first time, the Official Opposition’s foreign policy objectives. Please join us. And register early – this event is likely to sell out.

What Canada’s Foreign Policy Priorities Should Be
With government returned to Parliament for the Fall Session, Canada’s elected officials resume the debate in the House about Canada’s engagement with neighbours, allies, friends and foes. From Iran and Syria to the United States and China, from foreign investment and national security interests to foreign aid and conflict zones, there is much facing our nation’s foreign relations at this time of global turmoil. As the Official Opposition, the New Democrats are at the centre of debate on Canada’s foreign policy. What are their foreign policy positions and priorities for Canada? Their vision forCanadian leadership on the global stage? Join us as Paul Dewar gives us an insider’s look and presents for the first time the Official Opposition’s foreign policy objectives for Canada.
